Neal Stewart director of technology development
Neal Stewart is a co-founder of MycoGenomix and the originator of its technology IP. He is the Racheff Chair of Excellence and Professor of Plant Sciences at the University of Tennessee and has authored several seminal papers in the area of transgenic plant research. He received his PhD from Virginia Tech in Plant Biology.
Don Loveday director of business development
Prior to MycoGenomix, Don's work encompassed corporate business and technology development at DuPont and Exxon Mobil. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Kellie Burris research scientist and lab manager
Kellie has two Master's degrees from the University of Tennessee in Plant Sciences and Food Science. She has expertise in microbiology, protein biology and genetics technology.

Fred Tompkins
Fred Tompkins is President of the University of Tennessee Research Foundation, which manages the University of Tennessee's intellectual property. Fred has been directly involved in the university research enterprise for many years, as a student, professor, department head and Vice President of Research for the UT System. Fred brings MycoGenomix a network of resources and valuable guidance in bringing university technology out of the lab and into the marketplace.
Jeff Peters
Jeff Peters is the President of the White Stone Group and a board member of the Tennessee Center for Research and Development. Jeff has a number of years of personal experience building businesses from technology intellectual property. He brings valuable business operations expertise to MycoGenomix, especially during early stage development.
